The project also consists of installing a new automatic transfer switch and providing conduit routing to the existing generator and existing electrical room serving the building. Consolidated and minimized power disruptions while coordinating with facilities, building owners, and networking staff members to assure the effectiveness of outages. Interior work was challenged by noise restrictions and dust control while working in occupied spaces. The project used alternate methods of excavation due to live electrical power.
