Tammy Berardi, Dome Construction's Foundation Board Member, Accounting Systems Manager, and Philanthropist

We are thrilled to shine a light on Tammy Berardi and the philanthropic work she does. Tammy joined Dome over five years ago, and from the beginning, she has impacted not only Dome Construction, the Dome Construction Foundation but also the communities around her. The dedication to her professional work as the Accounting Systems Manager and the time she devotes to her philanthropic efforts deserve some recognition.

In 2019, the Dome Construction Foundation was founded to inspire others to philanthropy, something Tammy already had a passion for. Through the inception of the Dome Construction Foundation alongside Chairman Mark Bley, Tammy and the Philanthropy Committee made an effort to engage, empower, and inspire employee involvement. Through her tenure, Tammy has hosted build-days for Rebuilding Together, caravanned a group of Domites down South for the Best Buddies Hearst Castle Challenge, and most recently, taught a 10-week virtual curriculum for the students at Citizen’s School. When it comes to giving back, there isn’t anything that holds Tammy back from lending a helping hand. She does it all with excitement, enthusiasm, and her big heart.

When the Shelter-in-Place order halted in the Bay Area in March of 2020, Tammy knew it was more important than ever to continue working with organizations through out-reach and volunteering to do what she could to help. Tammy learned about Citizen School’s 10-week virtual curriculum, the Expanded Learning Time (ELT), through her outreach efforts. The ELT’s mission is to provide hands-on learning opportunities with career mentors for students after school through 10-week apprenticeships. It was then that Tammy jumped on the opportunity to lend a helping hand.

Tammy took on the 10-week ELT class with twelve 6th graders this past Fall. Over the course of the class, the goal was to understand what it would take to reconstruct an elephant pin for the Oakland Zoo. Throughout the experience, the students were exposed to every aspect of a building project, from hearing professionals in architecture, engineering and even a guest speaker from Dome who shared the general contractors’ responsibilities. The students were amazed at learning all that’s involved in building. They were appreciative and very fortunate to have Tammy Berardi as their teacher!

We are so grateful for everything Tammy does for Dome Construction, our Dome Construction Foundation, and for always going the extra mile to make someone’s day extra special.

Tammy, you lead by example and have shown us what it means to be selfless, especially during these challenging times. You have always been our rock and continuously inspire us to do more for others. We want to thank you and recognize you for all that you do!
