Our Mission

We created the Dome Construction Foundation with a simple goal in mind: to inspire others to philanthropy. Our approach to this goal is three-pronged. First, at Dome, we aim to create an atmosphere where participation in community development is encouraged and where volunteering becomes part of everyday life for our employees. We offer Dome Construction employees the financial resources to support the organizations that matter most to them. Second, we assist non-profit organizations in our expertise by improving their physical facilities through construction. We work to connect employees with meaningful volunteer opportunities. And third, through our partner charities, we mentor underprivileged youth and provide them with the tools they need for a bright future. By fostering personal development, providing experiences, and instilling confidence, we’re helping to build the community leaders of the future.

Who We Support

Foundation Leadership

At the heart of the Dome Construction Foundation is our Chairman Mark Bley. As an experienced leader and philanthropist, Mark has the head—and the heart—to lead the foundation to growing success. He joined Dome Construction in 1981 and served as President and CEO from 2008 to 2019. He currently acts not only as the foundation’s Chairman but also as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Dome Construction.

Before taking on the chairmanship of the foundation, Mark was already engaged in supporting his community. He mentored seven young people through the Urban Services YMCA Reach and Rise program, where he served on the Board of Directors, and is strongly committed to providing youth with the opportunities to build their future. Because of his leadership, Dome Construction also helped sponsor youth development programs including Urban Services’ Empowerment to Employment (E2E), Genesys Works, ICA Cristo Rey Academy, and All Stars workforce development. Mark also serves on the Board for All Stars Project, Inc.

In addition to his own dedication to giving back, Mark has encouraged Dome’s current leadership to take an active role in philanthropic leadership positions. Dome’s current CEO, Rob Lynch, current serves on the board of the Urban Services YMCA Reach and Rise Program.

DCF In Action

"We’re committed to making Dome Construction a community that cares."

From building to bowling, and from the beach to the 18th hole, the Dome Construction Foundation is proud to have donated over 4,500 hours of volunteering in 2019 alone. We’ve served over 40 charities and participated in dozens of work days and special events. We’re honored to be an active part of our community through hands-on volunteering and participating in crucial fundraising.
