People Highlights

Julie’s promotion to Associate Director at Dome marks a remarkable milestone as she becomes one of the company’s trailblazing women in our operations leadership.  At the helm of our Southern California office in Thousand Oaks, Julie’s role encompasses business development, safety, and project oversight, as well as the growth and recruitment of our team.  Beyond her expansive duties, she is dedicated to nurturing client partnerships and creating an environment that fosters her team’s success – mirroring Dome’s commitment to a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Julie’s sense of fulfillment in her role stems from two core sources. Firstly, the connection with her team and the collective satisfaction derived from their collaborative endeavors.  Secondly, her deep-seated passion for construction, especially the detailed art of building and the significant transformations it brings forth.

Her journey to this pivotal role has been paved by rich experiences that have served as her foundation. From an early age, Julie’s curiosity was piqued by the mechanics of how things work, an interest sparked by watching her father build high-performance engines and race boats.  This led her to the apprenticeship program with the Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Welders UA Local 484, where hands-on experience ignited her passion for the construction field—a sector she would come to excel in over the years.  Her evolution continued with a tenure at a leading Biotech company, where she acquired key insights into operations processes and the upkeep of complex structures.  Later, a stint as a client representative enriched her experience, offering a new dimension of learning and growth. Collectively, these experiences have been instrumental in equipping her for the leadership role she assumes today.

As we look toward 2024, Julie is enthusiastic about guiding the Thousand Oaks team to new heights and supporting their career progression. She is passionate about supporting their professional growth and witnessing their contributions to Dome’s collective achievements.
