Introducing Dan Amigone, Associate Director of our South Bay Team.

Today we are excited to announce that Dan Amigone has been promoted to Associate Director for our Dome South Bay Team and will help lead our San Jose Office. At Dome, this position makes Dan a part of the company’s senior leadership team.

Dan joined us in September 2019 as a Project Executive with the vision to help manage and grow our South Bay presence. Dan’s guidance and expertise have contributed to the expansion of Dome San Jose. He has allowed us to be appropriately prepared (with the required systems and resources) to handle more demanding, larger projects.

Exploring Dan's History

Dan began studying engineering and design in high school. Realizing his passion early on, he pursued his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Buffalo. After graduating from the University of Buffalo, Dan made the cross-country trek to California, completing his Master’s in Architecture at UC Berkeley. As a Berkeley graduate student, Dan started a cabinetry business and obtained his general contractor’s license. While in his twenties and early thirties, he had his own Design-Build commercial construction company in San Francisco and the Mid-Peninsula.

Dan grew up watching his family successfully own and operate small businesses. Risking his reputation and finances on every job has taught him that other people’s success and priorities are key to success.

His biggest career challenge was working as a draftsman to detail construction projects as a novice. Dan took that challenge headfirst, learning to create what he had previously instructed others to build. Dan’s drive and determination have taken him a long way in his career, and we are lucky to be a part of his journey. Dan has big plans for Dome San Jose, and we can’t wait to see them unfold.
