Contributing to creating something meaningful alongside dedicated individuals has consistently been a source of fulfillment throughout my career.

We’re thrilled to announce an exciting milestone for our Southern California team—Julie Ziegler has been promoted to Director!

Julie’s journey at Dome is nothing short of inspiring. Since joining us in 2016, she’s been a driving force behind our growth in Thousand Oaks, combining technical expertise with a leadership style rooted in collaboration and mentorship. Her ability to build strong teams and nurture client partnerships has shaped the success of our Southern California office—and now, she’s ready to take that impact to the next level.

From her early days as an apprentice in the Pipefitters and Plumbers Union to management roles at Amgen, Julie’s career reflects a deep passion for construction and operational excellence. She’s one of the trailblazers who broke barriers for women in leadership at Dome, and her story continues to inspire.

As Director, Julie will oversee business development, safety, and project delivery while championing team growth and recruitment. Her commitment to Dome’s core values—Value Our People, Seek to Understand, and Do It Right—remains at the heart of everything she does.

When asked what drives her, Julie shared two sources of fulfillment:
Connection with her team and the shared satisfaction of collaborative success
A lifelong passion for construction, sparked by watching her father build high-performance engines and race boats

Julie’s leadership isn’t just about projects—it’s about people. She’s dedicated to creating an environment where careers flourish and contributions matter. Recently, her coach told her that her story had inspired someone else—a compliment that speaks volumes about the impact she has beyond Dome.

Please join us in congratulating Julie on this well-deserved promotion!
