Introducing Niall O'Connell, Project Executive

Seeing a project through from napkin sketch to completion—that’s what I love most,. It’s not just the building itself that excites me, but the momentum that comes with bringing a collective vision to life.
Niall O’Connell’s path into construction started in Ireland, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering and launched his career in construction management. In 2016, he moved to the general contracting side, gaining valuable experience in both estimating and project management before stepping into his current role as Project Executive.
Today, he oversees multiple projects across sectors—leading teams, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of the business through strong partnerships and clear execution. With a well-rounded background and a steady, solutions-focused approach, Niall brings both technical insight and leadership to every phase of a project.
What he enjoys most is being involved from start to finish. “Seeing a project through from napkin sketch to final space—that’s what I love,” he says. That full lifecycle, from idea to reality, is what drives his passion for the work.
In recent years, Niall has helped his team navigate a challenging San Francisco market by pivoting into new sectors and staying flexible through change. That adaptability, combined with a focus on keeping teams aligned and engaged, has helped position projects—and people—for long-term success. Looking ahead, his priorities are clear: maintain strong relationships and ensure the people around him are happy, supported, and set up to thrive.
What continues to stand out to him is Dome’s collaborative mindset—where clients, trade partners, and internal teams are all working toward shared success. It’s an environment where teamwork drives outcomes, and everyone plays a role in building something meaningful.
With a calm presence, a practical mindset, and a passion for the process, Niall is helping lead the way—one sketch, one solution, and one strong team at a time.
