Introducing Bruce Clegg, Assistant Group Superintendent

My job is to help people get better. Sometimes that means offering guidance. Other times, it’s just being there when they need backup.

Bruce Clegg’s path into construction was anything but traditional. After realizing early on that school wasn’t for him, he jumped straight into the trades as a carpenter. He worked his way up, gaining hands-on experience and earning the respect of peers and leaders alike. Now, as an Assistant Group Superintendent at Dome, Bruce brings decades of field knowledge to support teams, mentor Superintendents, and ensure projects meet the high standards Dome is known for.

In this role, he thrives on problem-solving and stepping in when challenges arise—whether that means coaching someone through a tough moment or helping realign a project that’s gone off track. “My job is to help people get better,” Bruce says. “Sometimes that means offering guidance. Other times, it’s just being there when they need backup.”

Looking to the future, Bruce is focused on building a stronger bench of builders across Dome. He believes that creating lasting success starts with a team-first mindset and a commitment to continuous learning. He’s seen firsthand how far a positive attitude and collaborative approach can take a project—and a career.

Bruce credits much of his leadership style to the mentors who helped him along the way. From learning layout and foremanship to taking on full project leadership, each step shaped his perspective. But no influence has been greater than his father. “He prepared me for life,” Bruce says. “He wanted the next generation to do better—and I’ve carried that with me every day.”

Since joining Dome, Bruce has found a culture that aligns with his values. Feeling respected and supported has made all the difference—and it’s why he’s so committed to passing that experience along to others.

At Dome, Bruce is helping lead with integrity, experience, and heart. He’s not just keeping projects on track—he’s building up people, and helping shape the next generation of field leaders.
